Are you a newcomer to Canada who is looking for a job? You are invited to our first annual Speed Hiring Event on July 13th from 1-3 pm! Our employment coordinator Robyn will host the event at the Newcomer Welcome Centre, so bring copies of your resume and come meet various employers in the region. This is a come-and-go event, and you should come prepared to practice your interview skills with the employers you meet. Please note that there is a morning session, but it is for the youth attending our Employment Readiness Teenager Employment Camp. However, the afternoon session from 1-3 pm is open to all newcomers, and you can register by phoning 306-692-6892. Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 13th from 1-3 pm and register today.
