Canada celebrates the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, a day to honour the survivors of the residential school system, their families, and communities. It is a day for all Canadians to reflect, and learn more about the history of colonialism and its impact on Canada's Indigenous populations. It is important for communities to show support and join the efforts led by the original inhabitants of Canada to heal and recover. Our office will be closed on Monday in observance of the day, but our daycare will be open for regular hours.
